Associate Director, Paid Social & Search
As Associate Director, Paid Social & Search, you’ll lead a team of talented media professionals to deliver bold, performance-driven campaigns across paid search and paid social. You’ll shape integrated strategies that drive meaningful results for enterprise clients in ecommerce and lead generation — across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Advertising.
You’ll combine data fluency, creative vision, and leadership to ensure every campaign not only performs but inspires. This is your chance to lead with impact, influence strategy at scale, and help define the future of the agency’s digital media practice.
What You’ll Do
- Lead with purpose: Manage and mentor a team of 5+ digital media experts through ongoing feedback, development plans, and collaborative team culture.
- Own the strategy: Oversee strategic planning and execution for paid search and social, ensuring campaigns are data-driven, optimized, and aligned with client goals.
- Drive performance: Manage budgets and pacing while consistently hitting and exceeding KPIs across all accounts.
- Elevate storytelling: Deliver clear, insightful performance reports that connect the data to business outcomes and next steps.
- Champion quality: Maintain operational excellence by upholding best practices and refining processes that enhance efficiency and results.
- Inspire confidence: Present strategic recommendations and results with clarity and authority to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Grow relationships: Build trusted partnerships with clients and platform reps (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
- Fuel innovation: Contribute to thought leadership — from emerging trends and AI tools to channel innovations and internal knowledge sharing.
- Shape the future: Support recruiting, training, and team growth as we continue to expand our digital media capabilities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in digital media, with advanced hands‑on expertise across both paid search and paid social.
- Proven leadership experience and experience managing direct reports, ideally in an agency or fast‑paced digital environment.
- Deep understanding of full‑funnel media strategy, measurement, and optimization for eCommerce and lead generation.
- Hands‑on proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Advertising.
- Analytical excellence — you translate numbers into narratives and insights into action.
- Strong communication skills — persuasive, articulate, and confident in presenting to clients and executives.
- Proactive learner, staying ahead of trends in digital marketing, automation, and AI‑powered performance.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities with precision and calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with analytics and attribution tools is a plus.
