The Opportunity:
We're looking for an Account Officer join our Aviso Correspondent Partner team.
Reporting to the Director, Partner Services and Onboarding, the Account Officer is responsible for supporting Aviso Correspondent Partner (ACP) by providing outstanding service for clients, team members and related parties. ACP offers comprehensive custody and trading services to help portfolio managers, introducing brokers, and financial partners grow their business. You will be responsible for working with team members of ACP to follow up and investigate operational and service matters related to the delivery of wealth management services. In this position, you will support the efforts of the team by assisting in doing day to day and support related activities and some reporting.

What your day looks like:
- Follow up on and gather information on client account activities for client responses
- Work with Operations and IT to investigate activities and completion of requests
- Review transfer in documentation for completeness and initiation and follow up for completion
- Notify Partners of any transfer out requests and coordinate delivery of account with SLA
- Receive and direct certain daily activities for processing by Aviso or other related parties
- Handle general telephone and email inquiries on processing activities
- Ensure customer problems are handled appropriately, escalating issues when necessary
- Provide reporting on client accounts and other activities as necessary
- Assist with management and any other department related duties
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- University/College degree
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Effective information gathering and timely follow up
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual French skills are an asset
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to identify and assist in resolving issues
- Show initiative, attention to detail and adaptability
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Contribute to a positive working environment
- Strong computer skills

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $58,000 - $65,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
