Accounting Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and trust-related duties.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing accounts payable, including posting invoices and reconciling outstanding balances.
  • Managing accounts receivable, including charging clients credit cards and posting electronic payments.
  • Processing disbursements, such as Copitrak, BC Online, LTSA, and levies.
  • Maintaining trust-related tasks, including depositing and disbursing trust funds according to Law Society rules.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingual English/French language skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
