We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and trust-related duties.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Processing accounts payable, including posting invoices and reconciling outstanding balances.
- Managing accounts receivable, including charging clients credit cards and posting electronic payments.
- Processing disbursements, such as Copitrak, BC Online, LTSA, and levies.
- Maintaining trust-related tasks, including depositing and disbursing trust funds according to Law Society rules.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bilingual English/French language skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
