We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Technician passionate about designing robotic end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT) for handling a wide variety of products for palletizing applications. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, solution‑driven, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where every project directly contributes to the company’s success.

Requirements

- Requested Skills

- College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

- Knowledge of machining, assembly, and mechanical fabrication processes

- Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings

- Analytical mindset and attention to detail

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Ability to communicate in both French and English

- Assets

- Experience in managing technical projects

- Knowledge of automation and robotics

- Familiarity with ERP systems

Key Responsibilities

- Design industrial and collaborative robotic end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT) tailored to customer products

- Manufacture and test designed prototypes

- Oversee the transition from prototype to production

- Validate factory layouts by integrating our palletizing solutions

- Create and update technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and production instructions

- Collaborate with the engineering team to validate manufacturability and suggest improvements

- Support the production team by resolving technical issues

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and tools
