Youth Leadership Development Coordinator

London, Ontario, Canada JotForm Inc Full time
Are you motivated to help youth and young adults discover their God-given gifts and develop new skills? Does the idea of creating a Christian leadership development program inspire and excite you?

In our world of constant change and increasing complexity, healthy leadership is more important than ever. Many youth and young adults have incredible leadership potential but need investment, training, and support for this potential to grow and flourish.

At Youth Unlimited, we are deeply committed to seeing young people shaped and transformed in order to lead vibrant, hopeful, faith-filled lives. In turn, we believe our city will benefit as these young change agents become a positive influence within their families, neighborhoods, and more.

For almost 20 years, we've witnessed God transform young lives through our LAUNCH program, which has inspired and equipped young leaders through one-to-one coaching, spiritual and leadership development workshops, as well as a Grade 11 Leadership Course. We currently find ourselves with the exciting opportunity to reshape this young leaders program moving forward.

As the future "LAUNCH" Coordinator, you'll research current youth leadership trends and have the unique opportunity to design and build a new leadership development program for youth and young adults across the GTA. How can we help young people grow spiritually, in character, and in leadership? How can we most effectively build Kingdom leaders who will make a difference in their communities and beyond?

The Youth Leadership Development Coordinator will work alongside our Ministry Department to help shape the vision, lead, resource, and oversee all aspects of this ministry. This person will also give leadership to fundraising for the ministry and work closely with key stakeholders and community partners.

The salary of this staff position is determined on a scale based on education and experience and is 100% funded on a missionary basis – requiring the successful applicant to fundraise and gather a personal support team.
