London, Ontario, Canada Springboard Full time
We're committed to creating stronger communities by helping youth and adults develop the skills they need to thrive. As a key member of our Youth Community Justice Services team, you'll play a vital role in delivering innovative, professional, and diverse programming that establishes partnerships between our clients and their community.

With a focus on people-centered care, we foster opportunities for skills development, personal growth, and social interaction. Our team values include promoting work/life balance and mental health supports, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for everyone. We have an active Employee Engagement Committee that focuses on connecting staff through communication, a rewards and recognition program, career development initiatives, and social and team-building opportunities. Springboard offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time, permanent staff, as well as a savings plan to support employees in all aspects of their lives.

This role involves working closely with the Supervisor and team to provide individual support and group programming to justice-involved youth. The Attendance Program team delivers skill-development workshops in areas including anger management, Stop Now and Plan, Girls Group, and substance use. This position is responsible for intakes, ongoing communication with the young person and referral source, case management, and ensuring that programming meets the needs of the young person.

You'll be working with a diverse range of populations, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience working with youth and vulnerable populations. You'll need to apply a culturally responsive lens to all interactions, including with clients, staff, and partners. Additionally, you'll need to work collaboratively within and across teams, problem-solve, and work through immediate challenges. You'll also participate in ongoing evaluation and feedback meetings with youth and team to ensure youth and staff voice is represented in all facets of the program.
