Job Description

The Day Camp Site Leader is responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, supervising children at all times, and maintaining equipment and facilities. You will also assist in planning and running Parents Night Out and Family Events, as well as building positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for program times utilizing risk management guidelines, developmental characteristics, variety, creativity, and academically enriched activities
  • Assist Youth Program Director with creating staff and program schedules
  • Maintain equipment and facilities use only in an appropriate manner

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of 3 seasons of experience or years working with youth
  • Previous leadership experience
