We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join Stingray Advertising, the largest North American retail audio advertising network, representing top retailers like Albertsons, Kroger, Walmart, Loblaws, CVS, Sobeys and Rite-Aid. This role is pivotal in driving our outbound demand-generation efforts and expanding our reach among tier 2-4 endemic brands. As a BDR, you will play a key part in engaging with national and local brands to advertise across the Stingray Advertising retail audio network, qualifying leads for our national Sales Director team, and contributing to the overall growth of our company.

This position can be located in Toronto, ON or remote USA (preferably New York City)*

Responsibilities

- Lead Generation: Conduct outbound demand-generation activities, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach, to identify and engage with potential clients. Utilize prospecting tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prospecting: Target tier 2-4 endemic brands, treating them with a SaaS sales approach similar to SMBs, and qualify leads for the Sales Director team. Focus on retail media and retail audio advertising opportunities.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track interactions, analyze lead quality, and maintain accurate records. Use data-driven insights to optimize performance and track results.
- Client Engagement: Present company offerings, address client needs, and customize solutions to enhance satisfaction. Develop strong relationships with national and local brands.
- Sales Collaboration: Schedule appointments between prospects and Sales Directors, ensuring seamless handoffs. Collaborate closely with the sales team to maximize conversion rates and drive revenue.
- Market Research: Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer personas to refine outreach strategies. Stay informed about the retail media landscape and emerging trends.
- Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead quotas. Track performance metrics such as emails sent, calls made, and meetings scheduled. Embrace a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

- Experience: 1-3 years in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and communication tools. Strong social media skills, particularly on LinkedIn, to effectively connect with prospects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, resilience, and organizational abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
