Revenue Operations Specialist

Location: Montreal, Full-Time In-Office

Valnet is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Revenue Operations Specialist to join the Valnet team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital advertising and media, with strong technical and analytical skills.

You will play a key role in managing our CRM and DMP platform, supporting the development of audience segmentation strategies, and executing targeted campaigns that drive retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales Support & Advertising Operations: Act as the primary operational partner to the sales teams — supporting pitch ideas, deal flow, pipeline management, and campaign setup for display and video advertising clients.

- Collaborate with Sales, Ad Ops, and Account Management to ensure smooth order entry, campaign trafficking, and billing alignment.

- Assist in creating, reviewing, and maintaining RFPs, insertion orders (IOs) and related documentation.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across CRM, ad platforms, and reporting systems.

- Support sales by developing custom audience segments for their pitch decks and ensure advertiser KPIs are met through these custom audiences. Provide further optimizations if necessary.

Revenue Operations & Systems Management

- Maintain and optimize CRM and OMS systems (Boostr) to reflect accurate pipeline and campaign status.

- Build and manage dashboards that track campaign performance, revenue pacing, and sales productivity.

- Partner with Finance to reconcile booked revenue and ensure campaign billing accuracy.

- Support lead routing, opportunity assignment, and forecasting processes to improve sales efficiency.

Analytics & Process Optimization

- Analyze sales and campaign data to identify trends in ad performance, customer behavior, and revenue growth.

- Provide insights on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and sales conversion rates.

- Develop and document scalable workflows between Sales, Ad Operations, and Marketing.

- Support strategic initiatives such as pricing optimization, inventory management, and yield analysis.

Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Ad Operations, preferably within the digital advertising or media industry.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — especially with sales and ad ops teams.

- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

- Knowledge of display and video advertising, including campaign setup, pacing, and performance analysis.

- Knowledge in direct sales; RFPs, campaign management, audience data management.

- Google Ad Manager experience an asset.

- ComScore experience an asset.

Valnet est à la recherche d’un·e Spécialiste des opérations de revenus rigoureux·se et axé·e sur les données pour se joindre à son équipe. La personne idéale est passionnée par la publicité numérique et les médias, et possède de solides compétences techniques et analytiques.

Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la gestion de notre CRM et de notre plateforme DMP, en soutenant le développement de stratégies de segmentation d’audience et en exécutant des campagnes ciblées favorisant la rétention et la croissance des revenus.

Responsabilités principales

- Soutien aux ventes et opérations publicitaires: Agir à titre de partenaire opérationnel principal auprès des équipes de vente — soutenir les propositions, le flux de transactions, la gestion du pipeline et la mise en place de campagnes pour les clients en publicité display et vidéo.

- Collaborer avec les équipes des ventes, des opérations publicitaires (Ad Ops) et de gestion de comptes pour assurer une saisie des commandes, un trafic de campagnes et une facturation sans faille.

- Aider à la création, à la révision et à la mise à jour des RFP, bons d’insertion (IO) et autres documents connexes.

- Assurer l’exactitude et la cohérence des données dans les systèmes CRM, les plateformes publicitaires et les outils de rapports.

- Soutenir les ventes en développant des segments d’audience personnalisés pour leurs présentations et en veillant à ce que les indicateurs de performance (KPI) des annonceurs soient atteints grâce à ces audiences — effectuer des optimisations au besoin.

Opérations de revenus et gestion des systèmes

- Maintenir et optimiser les systèmes CRM et OMS (Boostr) afin de refléter fidèlement le pipeline et le statut des campagnes.

- Créer et gérer des tableaux de bord pour suivre la performance des campagnes, le rythme des revenus et la productivité des ventes.

- Collaborer avec le service des finances pour concilier les revenus réservés et assurer l’exactitude de la facturation.

- Soutenir les processus d’assignation des prospects, de gestion des opportunités et de prévisions afin d’améliorer l’efficacité des ventes.

Analyse et optimisation des processus

- Analyser les données de ventes et de campagnes pour identifier les tendances liées à la performance publicitaire, au comportement des clients et à la croissance des revenus.

- Fournir des analyses sur la santé du pipeline, la précision des prévisions et les taux de conversion des ventes.

- Développer et documenter des flux de travail évolutifs entre les équipes de ventes, d’opérations publicitaires et de marketing.

- Soutenir des initiatives stratégiques telles que l’optimisation des prix, la gestion des stocks et l’analyse du rendement.

Qualifications

- 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en opérations de revenus, opérations de vente ou opérations publicitaires, idéalement dans le domaine de la publicité numérique ou des médias.

- Solides compétences analytiques et en production de rapports à l’aide d’Excel, Google Sheets ou d’outils BI (p. ex. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

- Excellentes habiletés en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes — particulièrement avec les équipes de ventes et d’opérations publicitaires.

- Maîtrise des systèmes CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot ou équivalents).

- Bonne connaissance de la publicité display et vidéo, incluant la configuration, le rythme et l’analyse de performance des campagnes.

- Connaissance des ventes directes : RFP, gestion de campagnes, gestion des données d’audience.
