Revenue Operations Manager

Montreal, Quebec, Canada Mechasys Full time

The Mission

Mechasys is a Series A robotic technology company modernizing the construction industry with
laser-accurate projection tools. We are scaling aggressively with a target of reaching $100M in
revenue within 3 years.

We are moving beyond spreadsheets. We need a Revenue Operations Manager to build the
"Single Source of Truth" that aligns our complex revenue streams—Hardware, SaaS, and
Service—across our Direct Sales and Global Distributor networks. You will own the Salesforce
architecture that powers our growth engine.

The Role

You will be the architect of our commercial infrastructure. You will migrate our forecasting,
pipeline management, and dealer operations from manual tracking systems into a robust
Salesforce environment. You will ensure that data flows seamlessly between Sales, Finance,
and Operations, providing the executive team with real-time visibility into CAC, LTV, Inventory
turnover, and ARR growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Architecture & Ownership
● Take full ownership of the Salesforce instance, serving as the primary administrator and
architect.
● Design and implement workflows that support a hybrid business model: Hardware
(One-time revenue) + SaaS (Recurring revenue) + Service (Maintenance
Contracts).
● Manage the integration of third-party tools (e.g., ERP, Marketing Automation, Inventory
Management) to ensure closed-loop reporting.
2. Pipeline & Forecast Management
● Implement strict stage-gating and entry criteria for opportunities to ensure forecast
accuracy (Committing vs. Best Case).
● Build automated alerts for pipeline velocity, stalled deals, and renewal dates for SaaS
subscriptions.
3. Distributor & Channel Enablement
● Operationalize the "Mechasys Dealership Program" within CRM.
● Build portals or tracking mechanisms to monitor Dealer performance against their
committed annual quotas (KPIs: Unit Volume, Training Certification, Demo Activity).
● Streamline the "Quote-to-Cash" process for international distributors, handling
multi-currency pricing (CAD/USD/EUR) and complex discount structures.
4. Data Strategy & Analytics
● Define and track North Star KPIs: Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value
(LTV), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Hardware Gross Margin.
● Conduct monthly "health checks" on data integrity to ensure the Board Deck can be
generated at the click of a button.
Process Optimization
● Work with the CEO to digitize the Mechasys Sales Playbook, enforcing sales
methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC) directly within opportunity fields.
● Automate the "Handover to Customer Success" process to ensure seamless onboarding
for new hardware owners.

Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
● Experience: 5+ years in Revenue Operations or Sales Operations, with at least 3 years
dedicated to Salesforce administration.
● Certification: Salesforce Certified Administrator (Advanced Admin or Sales Cloud
Consultant preferred).
● Business Model Fluency: Proven experience managing Hardware + SaaS revenue
models. You understand that shipping a robot and renewing a license are two different
operational workflows.
● Analytical Grit: Expert proficiency in Excel/Sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs are
second nature) but a burning desire to automate them away.
● Communication: Ability to explain complex data structures to non-technical
stakeholders (Sales Reps and C-Suite).
Nice-to-Haves:
● Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools.
● Experience scaling a startup from Series A to Series B.
● Familiarity with international logistics or export compliance data.
Why Join Mechasys?
● Impact: You are not maintaining a legacy system; you are building the machine that will
drive us to $100M.
● Equity: Meaningful stock options (ESOP) in a high-growth deep-tech company.
● Culture: We are builders. We value transparency, precision, and speed.
