Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product to join our leadership team in Vancouver. As VP of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive growth and innovation in the competitive SaaS marketplace.

This position will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
2. Product Vision: Develop a compelling product vision that inspires cross-functional teams and aligns with customer needs.
3. Roadmap Development: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
4. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a talented team of product managers and designers to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
6. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
7. Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging customer feedback and data analytics to inform product decisions and enhancements.
8. Performance Tracking: Establish key metrics and KPIs to monitor product performance, iterate on features, and drive continuous improvement.
9. Budget Management: Manage the product development budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

1. 10+ years of experience with 3-5 being in a senior product management role within a SaaS company.
2. Track record of successfully launching and scaling B2B products.
3. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
4. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving product innovation.
5. Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
