PHL Distributions helps brands establish and grow their presence in the Canadian market. We specialize in innovative sales and marketing solutions, with a focus on OTC pharmaceuticals. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and manage our brand across various platforms.

Job Overview:

The Marketing Director will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and product visibility. A key focus will be on social media marketing, content creation, and influencer collaborations, particularly on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. You will also manage email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp and work closely with internal teams to align on product launches and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage marketing campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Create and manage social media marketing campaigns on Instagram and TikTok, utilizing influencer partnerships to expand reach and engagement.
- Utilize Mailchimp for email marketing campaigns, including list management, content creation, and performance analysis.
- Develop relationships with influencers, coordinating collaborations to enhance brand exposure and carry out successful campaigns.
- Oversee the creation of marketing content, including graphics, videos, and promotional materials.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine and optimize strategies.
- Develop and maintain a marketing calendar to manage campaign schedules, product launches, and event promotions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with sales strategies and business goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, content creators, and influencers.
- Stay updated on trends in social media, digital marketing, and the OTC pharmaceutical market.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of successful social media campaigns on Instagram and TikTok.
- Demonstrated success in working with influencers to carry out impactful marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing schedules and marketing calendars.
- Proven ability to analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with OTC pharmaceuticals is an asset but not required.
- A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with paid social media advertising and SEO strategies.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
