Venor is proud to partner with a leading industry organization in its search for a Technical Sales Representative. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a high-value territory across southern Alberta, representing innovative products and trusted brands while building lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Do

- Manage sales within your territory (Southern Alberta) on both existing and new business development.
- Drive sales growth through consultative, solution-focused selling, with annual sales targets of $3–5 million per territory.
- Spend approximately 80% of your time on the road, engaging with clients face-to-face and developing long-term relationships.
- Build long-term relationships with engineering, OEM, and end-user clients.
- Provide technical expertise, resolve product challenges, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of activities (quote follow-ups, call notes, client interactions) and track KPIs.
- Collaborate with Technical Specialists and inside sales to ensure customer success.
- Represent vendors with professionalism and enthusiasm, including travel within the territory.

What You Bring

- 3+ years of outside sales experience in the industrial industry.
- A degree/diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Strong drive for success, critical thinking, and a proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Technical proficiency and data entry capabilities to manage administrative tasks and track KPIs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel across the territory.
