Key Responsibilities: The Territory Manager is responsible for guiding and leading his team in achieving and exceeding the various objectives of his sales territory.
Tasks
· Analyzing and monitoring sales volume to ensure growth of the territory.
· Managing regional accounts and developing business agreements with new grouping.
· Maintaining close partnerships with the area’s Operations Directors and Banner Coordinators to target opportunities.
· Developing and executing the regional strategic action plan.
· Providing periodic business reviews to distributors and merchants.
Team management
· Being accountable for achieving team objectives.
· Proactively participating in the hiring process of your team.
· Providing continuous training for their distributors, including accompanying them on the road as required.
· Performing a team inventory check.
· Preparing and facilitating a weekly impactful meeting for your team.
· Monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring they are consistent with the corporate strategy.
· Regularly tracking team performance, performing KPI assessments and performing SWOT analyses.
· Presenting improvement plans in case of deficiencies in the performance of a territory.
Administration
· Analyzing the covering of the territory and retracing roads as required.
· Taking inventory of corporate distributors as required.
· Tracking and monitoring sales forecasts from distributors.
· Performing the analysis of different reports and communication of relevant information to their team.
· Creating and implementing effective monitoring tools.
· Participating in the development of marketing and promotion strategies and ideas.
Other
· Participating in trade shows.
· Participating in sales meetings.
· Strengthening links between the company and key regional collaborators.
· Taking over certain mandates or projects that will be assigned to them.
· Being available to travel outside their territory as required by the company.
· Filling in the routes of the territorial distributors if need be (vacant road, sick leave, etc.)
· Any other related tasks necessary to achieve objectives and as required by the company.
