Join our team as a Key Account Manager - RDT at Agnico Eagle Detour Mine, where you'll drive operational excellence and customer success in the Rock Drilling Tool business

You will be employed in the position of Key Account Manager and will be based at Agnico Eagle Detour Mine. Flight travel to/from site will be arranged for your weekly schedule. Your hours of work will primarily be from Monday to Thursday, for a total of forty (40) hours per week. Please note that you will not be entitled to overtime pay in this position. You will be required to spend a good portion of your time in the surface operations and future underground, supporting, advising, best practices and be a key resource to helping Detour find efficiencies and continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that we deliver as per the signed agreement between Epiroc & Detour.
- Document all activities, opportunities, and win/loss in Salesforce.
- Participate in Detour Mine operations steering committee meetings.
- Manage all contractors working on Detour site.
- Keep Business Line Manager, Regional Manager, and National Sales Manager informed about market conditions and developments.
- Ensure that service personnel are working safely and productively, with all necessary tools and resources.
- Assist inventory manager to ensure that the warehouse has the right inventory, and all products are accounted for.
- Provide leadership to ensure a good return for both the client and the company.
- Minimize waste and increase performance of onsite personnel and equipment.
- Issue monthly follow-ups on contract and product performance in Salesforce.
- Cooperate with the technical department.
- Assist A/R department in collection procedures as required.
- Provide feedback to the Product Company on market, customer, and product needs/development.
- Provide solutions support for efficient mining operations.
- Employ management techniques that maximize cost efficiency for the client.
- Ensure quality is within guidelines on reworked products from the service shops.
- Support and contribute to growth and business development in RGD Canada.
- Daily visits and communication with operators in the pit, technical support, troubleshooting, and product best practice presentations will be part of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities.

Experience:

- Strong leadership attributes, project management, and experience in the mining industry.
- Business and sales experience.

Knowledge/Education:

- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma required; post-secondary education that complements your experience will strengthen your application.

Skills and Abilities:

- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized, systematic, and transparent with a proactive and energetic approach.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in English; French is an asset.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software (i.e., MS Office).
- Prior knowledge of M3 software is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
