The Manager, Policy Administration System is responsible for leading the development and deliverables of a team of Policy System Consultants, Specialists and Analysts that support the business ownership of the Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter (future state) and Document Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational and technical strategic coaching function, specific to execution and the management of staff.

How you will create impact:

- Providing guidance and instilling exceptional knowledge and expertise of our Policy Administration Systems ensuring success of the Policy System Strategies and operational support structures, across all functions.
- Collaborating and participating in resource planning, allocating resources to team projects and initiatives, monitoring and adjusting as priorities evolve to ensure achievement of key performance indicators and strategic goals.
- Supporting the development of recommendations for projects and key initiatives, prioritizing the needs of the business to meet deadlines and ensuring the execution of operational functional accountabilities.
- Leading the escalation process with key stakeholder groups to resolve inquiries related to complex policy system issues.
- Supporting performance management, and creating a positive, supportive, and efficient environment that encourages innovation and resiliency.

To join our team:

You have 3-5 years of experience in the insurance and/or related technology field, preferably within a people leadership role.

You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Human Resources Technology or a related discipline.

You have working knowledge of Guidewire applications along with an understanding of insurance infrastructure, workflows and processes.

You have a demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and motivate staff to achieve results and provide feedback to your team to enable the successful development of your team and colleagues.

You have working knowledge of project management strategies and principles (as an asset).

You have strong analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills to guide problem resolution.

You have a demonstrated ability to influence change with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
