Leeco Steel is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to support our HR operations at the Hamilton, Ontario plant. This role is essential in maintaining smooth day-to-day HR functions and providing responsive support to employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruitment & Hiring Support: coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letters.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: prepare onboarding materials, assist with new hire paperwork, orientation logistics, and exit documentation.
- Employee Records & HRIS: maintain accurate employee files, update HR systems, and track key dates like probation and anniversaries.
- Employee Support & Communication: respond to general HR inquiries, distribute HR communications, and support employee events and training.
- Administrative Support: perform filing, scanning, data entry, and maintain HR templates and calendars.

Qualifications

- Certificate or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with Canadian employment standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
