**Responsibilities**:

- **Tree Planting**: Safely and efficiently plant large caliper trees in various settings, following industry best practices.
- **Site Preparation**: Assist in evaluating planting sites, preparing the soil, and ensuring optimal conditions for tree growth.
- **Tree Care**: Provide post-planting care, including watering, mulching, and pruning to promote healthy tree development.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with our experienced landscaping team to execute tree planting projects seamlessly.
- **Safety First**: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Passion for Trees**: An evident love for trees and the environment is the most important qualification
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and planting large trees.
- **No Experience Necessary**: While prior experience is a bonus, we welcome individuals with a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Personal protective equipment provided or required
Plastic shield at work stations
Social distancing guidelines in place
Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Marys, ON N4X1C9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
