**Position Description**:
We are currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant to join the Heart Center and Critical Care Medicine Program. In this integral role you will provide administrative support to the Managers of CCCU, PICU, Heart Center and the larger team.

**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**
- Manage the day to day operational and administrative activities of the Managers
- Organize and plan meetings/events, activities and book meetings
- Establish, implement, and ensure appropriate systems are in place so that work activities flow efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for scheduling and payroll on a bi-weekly basis and providing discrepancy report to the 3 respective managers
- Coordinate the requisition of office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
- Process accounts payables, verifying expenditures and process reimbursements.
- Process and monitor cost center expenses and other services.
- Process payments, expenses and all other financial responsibilities pertaining to the department as necessary.
- Liaise with Human Resources, Occupational Health, and Finance as required in the administrative lifecycle of employees.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related business program.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
