**Night Auditor Objective**:_To efficiently review and post the day’s transactions, and to perform a complete evaluation of hotel revenue_** **.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming guests through check-in and out of hotel
- Verify each Front Desk shifts transactions
- Receive payment, correcting account and reservation discrepancies
- Prepare a summary of cash and credit card transactions
- Post room and tax charges to all guest folios
- Post telephone charges, valet charges, and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
- Finalize transactions completed during the day
- Create and/or print required reports
- Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
- Prepare folios for departing guests
- Creating and canceling guest reservations
- Act as the main liaison between the guest and the hotel, while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the duration of the stay by providing an exceptional service.
- Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures
- To operate Corporate Courtesy Vehicle when required
- Other duties, as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 year current Front Office and Night Audit experience in a 4 Star plus environment and/or related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel required;
- Knowledge of OnQ Hilton PMS would be an asset.
- Service-oriented with problem solving and decision making skills.
- Professional detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred.
- Additional language(s) an asset.
- High school graduation diploma required.
- Must have a valid Ontario G Driver’s License.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts; overnight, weekends and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $19.57 per hour

**Experience**:

- front desk and night audit: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- ON G Drivers License (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
