- Market Risk (MR) is responsible for managing the ever-changing and dynamic world of trading and non-trading market risk, counterparty credit, margin management, and liquidity risk. Within MR, Capital Markets Risk Management (CMRM) is accountable for supporting TD Securities ("TDS") and Treasury & Balance Sheet Management ("TBSM") business objectives in accordance with TD’s risk appetite and regulatory expectations. CMRM provides independent oversight of enterprise-wide market, counterparty credit and liquidity risks; ensuring all significant risks are appropriately measured, reported, analyzed and transparent. - You will be part of a high performing team of risk professionals, where you will have the opportunity to broaden and deepen your understanding of risk disciplines and make an impact.- As a Risk Analyst in CMRM, you will be part of a group that is responsible for several activities related to the analysis and reporting of market risk, liquidity, and policy implementation. The team executes infrastructure changes with regards to the implementation of new or revised risk policies, system migration, model implementations, valuation methodologies and analysis of the key measures used by The Bank to monitor and control market and liquidity risk.**Job Details**
- You are required to demonstrate governance, control, and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices. It is your responsibility to ensure that execution of your function is in line with documented procedures specific to your role or business.
- The position requires in-depth product knowledge in capital markets, as well as communication skills in working with other business units including Front office, Technology and Market Risk Control.

**Job Requirements**
- Relevant industry, liquidity, or risk management experience and/or accreditation.
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills; can see the "big picture" in a complex environment through excellent judgement.
- Proactive and highly motivated individual, who enjoys process improvements and is willing to take and manage initiatives.
- Independent thinker who takes initiative to capitalize on opportunities and achieve efficiencies with sound business judgement and acumen.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, regulations, and market risk metrics, gained through academic study, or practical experience.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science) or other quantitative disciplines.
- Pursuit or completion of CFA/FRM is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain confidential and complex issues as well as experience with recommending changes to management.
- Programming skillsets such as VBA, Python, SQL is an asset to develop, modify and continually improve the risk management infrastructure used to capture and analyze risk
- Experience with Market and Liquidity Risk measurement and reporting including metrics such as IR Delta and CS Delta is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Takes ownership and possesses an excellent attitude to see through matters escalated from end-to-end.
- Self-starter, works well with others with the ability to lead as necessary.
