Horticulture/maintenance Account Manager

The Gardener landscape maintenance, is looking for a Horticulture/Maintenance Account Manager to join our passionate and steadfast team. As a full-time, year-round member of The Gardener operations, he/she will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing clientele and developing new customer relationships for softscape projects and landscape maintenance services. They will have a role in the horticulture division quality control and daily field managerial functions amongst our maintenance department.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Produce solutions that satisfy our customers needs, and utilize upsell opportunities for materials and maintenance services.
- Maintain a fast turn-around time for estimates, and follow up with customers once estimates have been sent, making adjustments if needed.
- Collaborate with, Maintenance Managers, construction managers, Coordinators, and Customer Service Team to ensure that customers are satisfied with their design and/or services.
- Meet with potential customers on site to listen to their project needs and perform a survey of the site (including measurements, grade, existing plants, etc).
- Provide the ultimate customer experience through prompt communication, mutual trust, and attention to detail.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- 5+ years’ combined field experience in horticulture/landscaping and/or account management experience (preferably in a related field).
- A valid Class G driver's licence.
- Advanced horticulture knowledge is an absolute must
- Expert knowledge of plant identification and plant disease and pest management treatments.
- Experience in landscape design would be an asset, but not required.
- Knowledge of LMN (industry software) for estimation purposes is an asset, but not required.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Proven ability to organize and utilize time management and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands.
