**Position: Horticulture Design and Project Coordinator**

**Location: Peterborough, Ontario**

**Company Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Horticulture Design and Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This new role is crucial for designing innovative garden landscapes, preparing detailed quotes, managing project schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and visualize appealing and sustainable garden layouts that meet client specifications.
- Calculate and prepare accurate quotes for garden projects, considering materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Coordinate project schedules, ensuring all garden maintenance and enhancements are performed on time and to high standards.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of horticulture trends and advancements to integrate into garden designs.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain project documentation, including receipts, site notes, reports, and correspondence.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in landscape design and project coordination.
- Proficient in using landscape design software, LMN (Landscape Management Network), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
