Fishing Guide in Remote Northwest Territories

Lindsay, Canada Brabant Lodge LTD Full time

Brabant Lodge is a full-service fly-in sport fishing lodge located on an island in the headwaters of the Mackenzie River, Northwest Territories. We are located approximately 50 kilometres by floatplane from Hay River, Northwest Territories. We predominantly fish for Northern Pike, but also offer Arctic Grayling, Walleye, and Whitefish fishing.

Guiding experience is not mandatory, only a passion for fishing and a willingness to learn All guiding is done on the Mackenzie River from Lund 18’ Alaskan boats powered by 50HP tiller handle outboard motors.

Fishing guides will work on shore in the spring and when not guiding doing various jobs around camp preparing for the fishing season. Safety is our priority at Brabant Lodge. Jobs may include but are not limited to plumbing, painting, carpentry, landscaping, putting docks and boats in the water, loading and unloading float planes, and more.

Preference will be given for applicants with experience handling Northern Pike, though experience is not mandatory.

**Salary**: $3,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
