Mind Connections is an Ontario based multi-disciplinary rehabilitation company, providing services to severely injured individuals including ones with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, severe orthopedic injuries and mental health issues. We have neuro-surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, neurologists, psychiatrists, physiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech language pathologists, dietitians, rehabilitation support workers and personal support workers working collaboratively with the clients. We pride ourselves in seamless communication between the various team members to provide optimal care to our clients. We service a large area of Ontario.
Our psychologists complete assessments and treatment to clients suffering from emotional and psychological issues as a result of traumatic accidents.

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic psychologists to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Critical thinking and decision making skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Experience working under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing assessments and treatment in clinical setting and virtually using standardized assessment tools
- Formulating treatment plans using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines and clinical expertise
- Actively engaging clients, families, and caregivers in treatment programs to address client centered goals
- Linking clients/caregivers with appropriate community partners/services/agencies
- Evaluating and documenting the effectiveness of the intervention, client’s response, and progress towards goal attainment
- Completing clinical records according to college standards
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, referral sources including team members and office staff.
The rate is $ 100 to $ 120/hour based on experience.
