Langley, Canada The Bugman Pest Control Services Full time

**Currently, The Bugman Pest Control** **is seeking a technician for our Langley & Surrey pest control routes. **The role would involve taking on clients who receive monthly rodent services in Langley & Surrey. You will also learn to work with a wide variety of pests including wasps, spiders and moles to add more variety to your days.

All equipment required is provided for you, along with a company vehicle to either take home or share, depending on scheduling.

**No previous pest control experience is necessary** and most of the time preferred. We will walk you through the training and studying required to get your license. Sales experience is an asset and experience with technology is a must as all of our systems are cloud based.

**Qualifications**
- Professional and confident demeanor and appearance
- A valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, co-workers and management
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Desire to learn and a drive to succeed
- Must be comfortable on ladders up to 40 feet tall
- Must be comfortable in crawl spaces and attics
- Must be physically capable of doing the job

**Wage**

You will start at $20 per hour during training, and then, once you are a fully trained & licensed technician, meaning you can confidently complete your days on your own, we will switch you to $25 per hour.

However, most of our technicians operate on a commission-based pay model, and this is an option as well. Commission-based pay models still provides you with consistent income, as we do it differently than most other companies. The average commission-based technician makes $27-$40 per hour during the fall, and $50-$80 per hour in the summer.

**Schedule/Availability**

We are currently looking for technicians to work 3-5 days per week, but the specific days are up to you, as the job provides flexibility to work around your life.

Our busiest season is May to September, so this position suits a student very well as work is busy during the summer and slower during the winter, giving you ample time to study. We are very flexible with our scheduling and happy to work around your life.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
