**Your New Role**:
**As a Finance Student, You Will**:

- Assist Accounts Payable in yearly archive and filing of records
- Assist in account reconciliations as assigned
- Perform physical audit of fixed assets subledger
- Develop excel templates to be used in annual budget preparation
- Assist department Managers in completion of annual budgets
- Perform month-end closing duties as assigned
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Work within the guidelines of the Deco Associate Handbook
- Ability to work, on occasion, outside standard working hours (weekends, off-shifts)
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a Team Environment and be a positive contributing member of that team in solution development and implementation
- Other duties as may be required

SAFETY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Accepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines
- Responsible for good housekeeping in your area

**What You Will Need to Succeed**:

- Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate student in a university Business, Commerce or Accounting Program
- Theoretical knowledge of financial, cost accounting & financial planning
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong technical and computer skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask effectively and have good time management skills
