**Responsibilities**:

- As the Steam and Recovery Manager, you will oversee the implementation, supervision, operation, and maintenance of our Steam & Recovery (S&R) department and related systems. Your key responsibilities include:
- ** Safety Leadership**: Promote and manage safe work practices, reduce incidents, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- ** Production Optimization**: Lead efforts to achieve efficiency targets and manage investments in equipment and facilities operations.
- ** Technical Expertise**: Consult with departments to develop and implement monitoring and testing procedures for equipment and utilities.
- ** Operational Excellence**: Implement strategies for energy management, process improvements, and equipment upgrades.
- ** Leadership and Team Development**: Mentor and guide subordinate personnel, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure workforce readiness.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- First-Class Manitoba Power Engineer Certificate is a must.
- Minimum of ten years' experience in steam and recovery operations in a pulp and paper mill or similar first-class power plant engineering.
- Strong communication, leadership, and computer skills.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure and in dynamic environments.
- Equivalent combinations of formal training and relevant experience will be considered.
