The Human Resources Project Management Office, within the Rogers Human Resources organization, is responsible for the effective project management and delivery of cross functional HR strategic initiatives.

As a Project Manager in the HR PMO, the incumbent will be accountable for planning, managing, and implementing projects in support of Human Resources business plans and goals. **Responsibilities**:

- Lead multiple initiatives of all sizes aimed at delivering new product and/or services
- Work closely with the project sponsor to develop the project charter, define the project scope, goals, objectives, approach, methodology and communication plans
- Manage and control all phases of a project from initiation through to closure and operationalization
- Motivate and effectively manage multidisciplinary project teams, to ensure that project delivery expectations are clearly defined and met.
- Develop & drive applicable project artifacts such as integrated plans, RAID logs, risk management plans and status reports while incorporating technical and non-technical team inputs
- Facilitate the identification and documentation of business requirements with key stakeholders, working jointly with the cross functional HR operational teams & Rogers IT on projects from process improvement initiatives to implementation/upgrades that are dependent on technology
- Actively monitor and control project scope, plans, risk management and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive and track change management work as project deliverables are rolled out, including activities such as training, communication, and documentation
- Effectively manage vendor solutions in terms of scope, timelines, and costs
- Complete, and contribute to, regular project status reports for Senior Management in a clear and concise manner, including raising decisions/approvals/issues through applicable forums in a timely manner to drive project success
- Conduct business process analysis to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage and complete Post Implementation Reviews for all projects, ensuring lessons learned are documented
- Contribute to enhancement of HR PMO best practices

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Business related discipline, BA/MBA/CHRP an asset.
- PMP Certification (or in the process of obtaining within the calendar year)
- Six Sigma Certified, an asset
- 5-10 years demonstrated project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting customer expectations
- Have led initiatives with teams of 10 or more and budgets exceeding $500k
- Expert knowledge in waterfall and agile project management methodology
- Demonstrated technical experience in IT, including proficiency with the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Proven analytic and problem-solving skills including experience in gathering & analyzing business functional and data requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and creative. Able to work effectively with little or no supervision, mínimal direction and frequent interruptions
- Professional and confident communication, presentation, and leadership skills with all levels of the organization and external vendors
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & SharePoint)
