Mission Community Services Society is hiring a Program Coordinator, Family Services. Reporting to the Manager, Family Services, the Program Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordination of programs and related activities, monitoring implementation of program policies and practices, working to keep programs on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Manager to create a safe and healthy environment for staff and clients.

**What you'll do**
- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the program by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and licensing requirements are met.
- Builds relationships with related community agencies, health/social services, and relevant organizations.
- Maintains and submits accurate reports and statistics weekly, monthly, and yearly.
- Plans and implements activities and special events for a program.
- In collaboration with the Manager, recruits program volunteers and service user groups, providing orientation and training as well as ensuring any issues are addressed.
- Makes recommendations to the Manager regarding program development, policy and procedure formulation and program evaluation.
- Promotes public awareness of and support for the program by producing promotional materials and attending community events.
- Liaises with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the program and represent the organization or program at external events.
- Responds to critical incidents, including dispositions and forwarding to applicable management as required.
- Provides support to the Manager in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of FDRP staff.

**What you bring**:

- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Human Services or other relevant field of study.
- A minimum two years' experience in a human service supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, professional training, and experience.
- Familiarity with MCFD run programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams required.
