As the captive finance company of the Audi, Ducati and Volkswagen brands in Canada, Volkswagen Financial Services offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi, Ducati, and Volkswagen Dealers.
The Sales Planning Analyst creates and supports achievement of sales and profitability targets for all lines of business (lease, loan, protection plans and commercial lending) by delivering detailed sales analytics, forecasting & business intelligence to the Sales Planning, Sales, Brand Management and Controlling teams. Additional responsibilities include delivery of portfolio performance reporting, sales incentive program development, preparation & monitoring/reporting of custom dealer business reviews, training presentations and financial product proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contributor for measuring, monitoring, and reporting of all key business metrics to stakeholders via BO, Tableau and Salesforce, the preparation and delivery of sales data to service providers and the analysis of relevant industry data. This includes regular cadence delivery of all Sales Operations reporting, the NAR Reporting Suite, the creation, and ongoing maintenance of an Incentive Performance Dashboard and tracking of leading and lagging indicators of program performance.
- Key contributor to the annual business planning processes including development of Sales budgets comprising departmental, regional and territory budgets and relevant scorecards. Provides sales management oversight with delivery of monthly and quarterly business reviews including reporting of Sales and Sales Team performance. Utilize self-developed analytics, reporting and business acumen to identify risks and opportunities to sales target achievement and communicate findings with tactical recommendations to the Sales Organization.
- Function as the Canadian Salesforce Sales Cloud SME to evolve and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud design while working with the Sales Cloud IT Team to expand Sales Cloud capabilities and effectiveness. Optimize Salesforce Sales Cloud analytics to deliver modern, real-time, mobile enabled reporting infrastructure and obtain stakeholder buy-in. Perform testing and troubleshooting on delivered reporting frameworks. Be the Salesforce Sales Cloud Administrator to manage user groups, and content and communicate with users/stakeholders for troubleshooting, related reporting issues and training. Document all administrative processes and procedures.
- Lead contributor for delivery of Standard Rate Product Pricing, and all associated models, processes and proposals including competitive market analysis, consultation with Field Sales team, Dealer remuneration schemes. Ownership of the Bulletin Tool including rates, residual values and production of related files, PDF program bulletins and relevant internal controls.
- Lead contributor for the design, development, delivery and reporting of all commercial lending incentive programs including analytics and necessary regression testing. Includes comprehensive incentive program management (Purchase Requisition, Budget, Communications, etc.). Create commercial finance proposals and Dealer Group Business Reviews to support Sales Team business development. Develop and maintain sales analytics tools to speed delivery of ales team analytical requests. Deliver Sales Team custom analytical requests and presentations.
**Experience**:
- 3+ years of financial/business analysis
- 3+ years of automotive finance - Preferred
- Dashboard Tools for business intelligence & reporting - Preferred
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study (Business Management, Finance, Data, Economics, Math
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification - Preferred
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification - Preferred
- Tableau Certification - Preferred
