Contract Facilitator, Project Management for IT

Working within the Business and Productivity Portfolio, contract Facilitators will deliver Project Management for IT Professionals training programs.

Workshop content may include areas within the project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) and include both waterfall and agile methodology** **content may be covered.

**Contract Instruction Deliverables**:

- Utilize appropriate educational technology for communications and presentations
- Maintain professional ethical relationships with students and colleagues; respond professionally to student issues and concerns
- Maintain student attendance and other documentation as required
- Provide direct instruction utilizing appropriate instructional strategies to maximize student motivation and learning in a skill-building environment
- Grade assignments and submit marks/records promptly
- Respond professionally to student issues and concerns

**Qualifications**:

- A related undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Related Designation, such as PMP, a strong asset
- Extensive project management experience
- A NAIT Becoming a Master Instructor (BMI) certificate would be a definite asset.
- Experienced with the training and facilitation of adult learners in a face to face and online environment using a variety of techniques
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- A high level of independence is required
