**Project Administrator/Contract Manager**

**Position Overview**

As a Project Administrator/Contract Manager, your primary responsibility is supporting the management team with managing resources, documentation and information and assisting with daily coordination. You will also assist with RFPs, project startup, RFQs, and project close-outs.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Review incoming field log, supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and coding.
- Managing, coordinating and administrating contracts and subcontracts to ensure cost and schedule compliance.
- Create and maintain project files / Document management and control.
- Provide other administrative support to management, operations staff and project team.
- Support project set-up and establishing document controls under the direction of Upper Management and Project Manager.
- Managing the contract change order process for in or out of scope items.
- Attestation of progress for billing activities.
- Maintain organized system of digital records.
- Manage expectations and requirements.
- Assisting with input/collection to and for monthly project reports for construction progress and status of contracts, billing, accruals, cost forecasting
- Understand, highlight and identify contractual risks.
- Draft contractual correspondence.
- Coordinate and review drawings, schedules, samples, alternate requests, and project change documents to ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate, evaluate and process payment certifications.
- Involvement in Substantial Performance/Completion review process, evaluating project completions and processing of final payments.
- Prepare and coordinate project change documentation, including sketches and drawings or facilitating preparation of sketches and drawings.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes and track issues for resolution.
- Coordinate project close-out documents for submission and forwarding to appropriate parties upon completion of the project.
- Monitor and report on Project Scope, incurred cost, accruals and Estimate At Completion (EAC).
- Monitor and flag deadlines with time sensitivity.
- Support management and construction staff with reviews and provide feedback.
- Represent the organization and interact professionally with project owners, sub-consultants, suppliers, and subcontractor representatives.
- Attend regular internal coordination meetings to report on progress and issues related to assigned projects.

**Profile**

Minimum 5-10 years of contracts administration within projects, preferably in transportation and infrastructure
- Civil construction project experience will be considered an asset.
- Undergraduate degree, quantity surveying, or recognized major project experience.
- Familiarity with the formation of construction contracts including support service.
- Ability to manage and administer pre and post award construction contracts.
- Familiar with Unit Price, T&M, and Lump Sum contracts.
- Ability to break down contract schedules into a framework to be used for progress monitoring.
- Superior attention to detail and follow up skills.
- Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
