**POSITION: Accounts Payable Clerk**

**SALARY RANGE: $24.78 - $29.16 per hour**

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for accurate and efficient processing of all invoices for both the

Listowel Memorial hospital and Wingham and District hospital sites.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent
- One year college courses related to Accounting ideal
- 2 years previous experience in accounting
- Ormed experience preferred

**POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**:

- Responsible for receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
- Accurately sort, scan and file electronically invoices to be signed by management.
- Work with MM to enter all PO driven invoices
- Key all AP invoices into batches in Ormed ensuring accurate GL account coding
- Input EFT information into Ormed for vendors
- Balance all statements from vendors
- Investigate all discrepancies with invoice totals (if any) and work with company to clean up accounts.
- Lead, support or participate in key activities or action plans as identified on applicable Operational Plans
- Active member Finance team meetings and huddles.

**HOURS OF WORK**:Monday to Friday Days, 37.5 hours per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
