Legal Assistant - Estate Administration

**Location**: Stony Plain, AB (Onsite)
**Salary Range**: $60,000-$70,000

We are a full-service law firm in search of a dedicated **Legal Assistant** specializing in **Estate Administration** to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on supporting clients and providing high-quality legal services.

**About the Role**

As a **Legal Assistant - Estate Administration**, you will be integral to the success of our legal team. This position involves managing estate files, assisting lawyers, and working closely with clients to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **File Management**: Handle file intake, organization, and preparation.
- **Client Support**: Assist with client meetings, gather required information, and maintain communication throughout the process.
- **Document Preparation**: Draft probate and estate administration documents.
- **Coordination**: Communicate with financial institutions, the Public Guardian, and Trustee offices.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Conduct searches at Corporate Registry and Land Titles.
- Schedule meetings and manage calendars.
- Provide general administrative support as required.

**What You Bring**
- **Experience**: Minimum of **6 months in Estate Administration** as a Legal Assistant (required).
- **Technical Skills**: Experience with computerized estate assembly programs (an asset) and Esilaw 360 (preferred).
