**What you’ll do**:

- Utilize data and analytical tools to support the identification of opportunities and action them to deliver organizational value. Understanding the impact of strategy on reducing the total cost of ownership of the goods and services to FCL is critical to success.
- Develop short, medium and long-term category and sourcing strategies within an assigned portfolio of spend.
- Lead the implementation and execution of sourcing and category management activities for enterprise-wide sourced goods and services of larger size and complexity.
- Foster exceptional relationships with your category stakeholders ensuring the developed strategies deliver the maximum lifecycle value and meet business requirements. This will require exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
- Leverage and work closely with the Procurement Center of Excellence to develop, deploy and enhance procurement governance and digital tools to support advancing the procurement function at FCL.

**Who you’ll work with**:
You will provide guidance and leadership to Business Units on quality decision making, proper sourcing process and supplier management and category strategy development. This position will collaborate with relevant business stakeholders, other Strategic Sourcing Managers, senior leaders within the Procurement Department and the COE team members.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

- Have a minimum of 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply management and/or supplier management.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, economics, engineering or relevant field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have certificates in procurement, supply chain management, Lean/Six Sigma, or operations planning.
- Have experience using leading practices for strategic sourcing, managing spend categories/commodities and negotiating commercial and legal contractual terms.
- Experience managing a Transportation and Logistics spend portfolio is an asset.
- Have experience utilizing digital spend management and sourcing tools (preferred).
- Strong verbal communication skills are required, including confidence leading and presenting to large groups of stakeholders.
