About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to drive business value and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet business requirements and drive cost savings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement category management plans, driving business value and improving operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on procurement processes, supplier management, and category strategy development.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Center of Excellence to develop and deploy procurement governance and digital tools, enhancing the procurement function at FCL.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply management, and/or supplier management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics, engineering, or relevant field.
  • Certificates in procurement, supply chain management, Lean/Six Sigma, or operations planning.
  • Experience with FCL categories/commodities is preferred.
  • Contract/contractor management experience is an asset.
