This is a remote opportunity that can be based in Saskatoon, SK, Regina, SK, Edmonton, AB, or Calgary, AB.
About the Role:We are looking for a forward-thinking professional with the creativity and maturity to effectively challenge the status quo of our existing business and practices.
The successful candidate will utilize data and analytical tools to support the identification of opportunities and action them to deliver organizational value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing short, medium, and long-term category and sourcing strategies within an assigned portfolio of spend.
- Leading the implementation and execution of sourcing and category management activities for enterprise-wide sourced goods and services of larger size and complexity.
- Fostering exceptional relationships with category stakeholders to ensure developed strategies deliver maximum lifecycle value and meet business requirements.
- Leveraging and working closely with the Procurement Center of Excellence to develop, deploy, and enhance procurement governance and digital tools to support advancing the procurement function at FCL.
We are looking for a candidate with 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply management, and/or supplier management.
A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics, engineering, or a relevant field is required, along with certificates in procurement, supply chain management, Lean/Six Sigma, or operations planning.
Experience with FCL categories/commodities is preferred, and experience in contract/contractor management would be an asset.
