**Job Description**:
The Manager, IoT and Digital Workplace brings multi-faceted technical expertise and passion for customer service to deliver a range of technical services, performed market research to identify technology solutions aimed at delivering efficiency and creating incremental value via creative use of technology.

This challenging and exciting new role requires the ability to solution complex problems with creative, cost effective, and common-sense technology solutions without losing sight of the end-user-experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to identify innovative property technologies with the aim of solving business problems and creating efficiencies.
- Provide ongoing oversight and optimization of the Azure environment and manage the respective MSP.
- Lead efforts to migrate and eliminate the hosted server infrastructure to support cloud strategy.
- Provide technical leadership in pursuit of evaluation, rollout & operationalization of various technology platforms.
- Manage and oversee technology platform lifecycle management to continually perform value proposition assessment, financial assessment, and provide relevant recommendations.
- Deliver ongoing operational support to efficiently run cloud DR, IAM, IdP and other platforms.
- Identify system issues & engage cross-functional teams for timely incident resolution and problem management.
- Manage the relevant incidents and services queue and produce recurring KPI reporting and dashboards.
- Proactive and effective communications of maintenance, upgrade, enhancements cycles.
- Partner with cross-functional technical leads to ensure adequate communications with stakeholders.
- Research and present creative off-the-shelf technologies deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Proactive market research to identify upcoming technical advancements in the realm of operational technologies such as access control, Cloud CCTV, Visitor Management Systems and a range of IoT innovation.
- Engage with the team members on the integration of new and existing building automation systems.
- Leverage existing platforms to enhance user experience and maximise the ROI.
- Orchestrate and lead continual accountability across a diverse team of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Proactively build business relationships throughout the service lifecycle.
- Identify, manage, and control risks of service transition.
- Assist with coordinating the transition of projects from implementation to operations.
- Coordinate the responsibility transitioning between internal and/or external parties.
- Document technology solutions and develop methods of procedures.
- Assist in effective budget management and spend allocation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Service / Personal Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a meaningful way to a variety of audiences.
- Comfortable with ambiguity & competing priorities.
- Ability to track many overlapping projects down to small details while keeping the big picture in focus.
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Technical Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in customer facing roles in large matrixed enterprise settings.
- 5+ years of experience as a supervisor/manager is desired.
- Knowledge of the flex space / co-working environments is desirable.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with a combination of following technologies steams.
- Deep technical understanding of Microsoft Windows infrastructure services including IIS, SQL, SharePoint, AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS in an enterprise setting.
- Strong experience with VOIP, Telco, and UCAS implementations and enhancements.
- Experience with CCTV and access control systems such as CCURE, Genetec etc.
- Hands on experiencing managing an implementing IdP platform such as OKTA, OneLogin etc.
- Expertise with printing infrastructures and printing solutions such as Papercut, Equitrac etc.
- Deep understanding of IP networking, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, whitelisting, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Understanding of SAN/NAS technologies.
- Solid understanding of hardware and software architecture.
- Comprehensive understanding of SaaS and hosting models is required.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware knowledge such as rackmounts, blades, etc. (HP, Dell, IBM)
