The Manager of Program Operations will report directly to the Executive Director and will oversee and support our team of Program Managers and Resident Coordinators. Leadership and problem-solving skills are essential in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services across our diverse programs. The Manager of Operations will work to align the programs they oversee with our organization’s values, goals and standards, fostering an environment of excellence, creating a safe space for our clients and ensuring collaboration among the team.

**Key** **Responsibilities**

Leadership & Supervision:

- Provide supervision, mentorship, and support to Program Managers and Residential Coordinators.
- Ensure that all programs meet internal and external regulations and standards.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Program Oversight:

- Monitor and evaluate program performance and outcomes.
- Ensure consistency and quality of service delivery across all programs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of program goals and objectives and policies.
- Managing of SHSS and ensuring documentation is being input to meet MCFD requirements

Client Services:

- Ensure that client needs are met through effective service plans and interventions.
- Support Program Managers in addressing complex cases and providing direct intervention when necessary. Provide support in case management and service plans.

Administration:

- Collect and analyze program data for reporting and evaluation purposes.
- Participate in budgeting and resource allocation for programs.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in meetings and on committees related to program services.
- Collaborate with other managers and staff to achieve organizational goals.

**Policy and Procedure Development**

Take on a key role in shaping and refining program policies to ensure accountability for yourself and your team, aligning with organizational policies, legal requirements, accreditation standards, funding criteria, and the core mission, vision, and values of the agency. Lead investigations into incidents and complaints, addressing any legal or ethical concerns that may arise.

**Leadership & Team Development**

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering skill growth and continuous improvement through constructive feedback and evaluations. Encourage a culture of learning through mentorship and by developing an engaging curriculum for practicum students. Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff and support succession planning for key roles.

**Service Delivery Oversight**

Ensure services are delivered in alignment with best practices, organizational policies, legal requirements, funding contracts, accreditation standards, and Spectrum Learning Centre's values. Provide leadership and guidance to staff in areas such as service planning, caregiver home management, stakeholder reporting, and thorough file and case reviews.
