**About Our Opportunity**:
Services such as CANImmunize’s ClinicFlow, eConsent and VaxRecordNS have become critical tools to support Nova Scotia’s publicly funded immunization program and Public Health transformation. Reporting to the Program Manager for Public Health Information Solutions (PHIS), the PHIS Delivery Manager is responsible for leading development, implementation, delivery and ongoing oversight of these products as well as emerging new solutions and/or enhancements that support public and clinician engagement with our Immunization program.. The PHIS Delivery Manager will supervise/lead team members and/or consultants.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Key responsibilities include:

- Build deep understanding of the how the solutions impact our users, and champion ongoing initiatives that continually improve functionality, quality and cost.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the functionality of the product or service being supported and what it takes to maintain operations. At peak seasons, be prepared to roll up your sleeves, and help with the work.
- Develop strategies to engage with users of the products and prioritize with business leaders suggested improvements and additional functionality.
- Advocate for best practices in product/service development and support.
- Communicate effectively and ensure adherence to departmental processes and procedures.
- Lead the delivery of product/service upgrades and patch releases.
- Escalate technical issues to other teams (at vendor, NS Health, CSDS) as necessary, navigate the organization, collaborate with other teams to find solutions to complex issues, and ensure successful implementation.
- Maintain an up-to-date program documentation and operational support plan.
- Identify potential risks to the product or services and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Lead Threat Risk Assessments, Vulnerabilities Assessments, and Penetration testing as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
You have the skills and attitude to lead a cross-functional team to execute on our evolving priorities - to consult, to plan and to deliver quality solutions that impact your friends and neighbours. You have a passion to make things better for our users and can negotiate with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive appropriate outcomes, while remaining level-headed when things sometimes get hectic.

You also have demonstrable experience in problem-solving skills in a cross-functional environment (that includes technical teams). You are an excellent facilitator, and you demonstrate great written and verbal communication skills. You can simplify and communicate technical concepts to business partners, peers and our leadership team with less technical backgrounds.

You have sound experience in project management on complex projects or programs. Having a PMP or PRINCE2 certification is considered an asset.

Experience with vendor management and outsourced service providers is a significant asset.

Having experience in the public sector or healthcare environment is considered a strong asset.
