**About Reaching Home**:
Reaching Home is part of Canada’s National Housing Strategy— Reaching Home: Canada's Homelessness Strategy is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada. This program provides funding to urban, Indigenous, rural and remote communities to help them address their local homelessness needs.

**The Role: Program lead, Data Analysis & Research (Please note this is a 12-month contract position)**

The **Program lead, Data Analysis & Research** will collect and analyze data regarding homelessness, Point in Time (PiT) Count, subproject deliverables and outcomes, and sharing stories of impact. Provide analytical and technical support and advice to the Community Entity, Community Advisory Board and Reaching Home team. Support community and equity centered call for proposals (CFP), adjudication, and fund dispersal processes. Help to deliver innovative community-centered services and resources, model reciprocal learning and aim for systemic change that addresses root causes of inequality.

**A typical day would involve any combination of**:

- Manage and analysis of all data for the purposes of CABs and other stakeholders making data
- informed decisions. Manage requests, qualitative and quantitative data and lead surveying, collecting, analyzing, reporting and sharing data and stories of impact.
- Manage, coach and lead a highly engaged, diverse team to support the growth of the Reaching Home program.
- Identify, plan, and implement education and engagement initiatives and activities (ie. peer learning events, knowledge dissemination, evaluation and results reporting, training, etc.).

**You Have**:

- Extensive experience or knowledge of housing or homelessness strategies
- Extensive experience that demonstrates your ability to connect with diverse networks (i.e., IBPOC communities, levels of government, Indigenous groups and political leaders, media, governance, staff, partners) Experience negotiating and developing contractual agreements
- Experience in people leading and project managing within community program administration at increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience and exposure to working within a non-profit environment
- Exceptional time management, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability for research and data analysis
- Knowledge of data analysis software such as Python or R, Tableau, MySQL, Power BI, advanced excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.)
