**We are currently looking for a full time Housing and Quality Coordinator (37.5 hours per week)**

Under the direction of the Community Relations Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible to:

- Interact, screen, tour and approve all applicants for suites and short-term student rentals, as well as follow up on all prospective clients within a timely manner.
- Coordinate move ins for tenants including necessary and/or optional services of amenities, parking, storage, etc.
- Coordinate with other departments in the preparation of tenancy for vacant suites including all documentation required for occupancy.
- Plan, complete and document move in/outs for tenants and report to appropriate departments for necessary follow ups including but not limited to finance, hospitality, maintenance, insurance policies, storage, parking, citizen handbooks, etc.
- Responsible to prepare, store and administer all move in and move out documents and to conduct an initial citizen orientation for all new citizens to the Centre.
- Resource for external references related to past or current citizens.
- Liaison and coordinate new citizen welcome meetings with department managers and citizen association.
- Assist to maintain clients’ data base information in property management system and file system ex: (photograph’s).
- Oversee yearly suite inspections in coordination with maintenance personnel.
- Liaison with appropriate personal for project management and budget of suite renovations, conversions and/or repairs.
- Establish, collaborate, and maintain positive relationships between St. Andrew’s Centre and its internal/external stakeholders. (ex: Homecare agencies)
- Assist with citizen inquiries, requests, concerns, challenges within their living space and internal community.
- Analyze current market trends related to seniors housing industry and community living spaces.
- Attend and take minutes for the monthly Citizens’ Community Committee meetings with the Chief Operating Officer, submit minutes for monthly newsletter.
- On a regular basis update citizen information in the various data bases and files as well as client waiting lists.
- Update all applicable referral agencies and other sources of referrals such as SAGE, ASCHA and SHSA.
- In consultation with the Manager of Community Relations of the organization, coordinate advertising, promotion and marketing activities and materials for leasing of St. Andrew’s Centre facilities including trade shows, special events, etc.
- Communicate with the Community Relations Manager to ensure new tenant information is provided for the ambassador program.
- Ensure and maintain compliance with standards directed by municipal, provincial or federal legislation and regulatory agencies such as Alberta Health Services.
- Assist in the research, creation and review of policies and procedures related to citizen relations and organizational responsibilities.
- Assist in planning and executing objectives to meet the strategic development of the organization.
- Prepare and submit monthly/yearly reports to the Chief Operating Officer and/or Community Relations Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by the Community Relations Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer.

Degree/diploma in Business Administration or Health Administration/or College diploma in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, Volunteer Management, or related field. Course or certificate in Change Management an asset. First Aid and CPR certified

Minimum of 3 to 5 years property management experience Five years’ experience in a senior leadership role such as management or program administration. Experience working with senior adults in program development which included policy writing. Five years of combined experience working in diverse types of populations such as continuing care, adult day programs or recreation. Knowledge of community resources, service development and applicable legislative acts such as PIPA. Knowledge of the housing industry practices including the Landlord and Tenancy Act, POA’s. In depth knowledge of senior’s issues related to health and wellness and ability to recognize risk situations.
