- **RDJ Bakeries Ltd**_ is currently looking for a Training & Development Manager to join our growing dayshift team.

**Job purpose**

The Training Manager assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance through various events and effective hiring programs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths and annual performance appraisals, in consultation with HRs and managers from other departments.
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
- Prepare and deliver training modules as per the requirement.
- Contribute to develop a Leadership Training program and a strategy that supports training and development.
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee engagement events and programs to help improve employee retention.
- Track employee performance and progress.
- Conduct effective induction and hands-on training sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
- Manage training budget.
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Manage the onboarding records and the training follow up questionnaires.
- Constantly communicate with the team for ongoing projects and new projects.
- Organize various events to enhance employee morale through recognition and feedback process.
- Act with integrity and protect sensitive data confidentiality.
- Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
- Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
- Approve the vacation requests.
- Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
- Issue disciplinary action when needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as training manager or similar role.
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
- Ability to manage various events company-wide.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Capability to produce reports and presentations for senior leadership when needed.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
- Expertise in Excel and MS office.

**Working conditions**
- Always work indoors.
- May be exposed to very hot temperatures from ovens.
- Usually wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, and beard nets.
- Capability to work flexible schedule and overtime across all shifts.
