**Summary/Job Scope**:
As the Head of Human Resources for the Cement Business, including Logistics and Terminals, you will assume a pivotal role in formulating and executing HR strategies integral to the overall success of the cement business unit. We seek a results-driven HR leader, distinguished by a proven ability to navigate transformative change across diverse industries. Bringing a proven track record of impactful leadership, this seasoned professional possesses a deep understanding of the distinctive challenges and dynamics inherent in the cement industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the HR teams dedicated to the Cement Business, ensuring the formulation and execution of strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that HR initiatives significantly contribute to overall business success and growth.
- Provide astute leadership and guidance for the full spectrum of HR functions, implementing policies and programs that align with corporate objectives.
- Serve as a strategic human resources advisor to the North American Executive Team, spearheading projects aligned with strategic business goals.
- Supervise employee relations activities, cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture and addressing concerns with promptness and efficacy.
- Manage relationships with unions if applicable, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and participating in negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and implement bespoke training programs for continuous employee development and facilitate leadership development initiatives to nurture a robust leadership pipeline.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
- Ensure meticulous compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies, providing overarching leadership and guidance for HR functions, initiatives, and policy implementation.
- Collaborate seamlessly with safety and operations teams to instill a robust safety culture and ensure HR practices align rigorously with health and safety regulations.
- Lead HR initiatives pertaining to organizational change, mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring within the cement, logistics, and terminals divisions.

- Exhibit expertise in change management methodologies, demonstrating the ability to lead and facilitate organizational transitions effectively.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing initiatives that drive cultural change, aligning workforce behavior with organizational objectives.
- Capability to assess, develop, and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention during periods of change.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the cultural nuances specific to the cement industry and the ability to tailor strategies accordingly.
- Proactively identify and address challenges related to change management, employing effective communication and influencing skills to gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
- A seasoned strategic planner with a robust set of technical skills, analytical acumen, and discerning judgment, emphasizing a keen focus on relationship building.
- Possesses exemplary organizational prowess and self-directed initiative, demonstrating political acumen and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- An adept decision-maker with meticulous attention to detail, showcasing a strategic orientation aligned with the specific business needs of the HR domain.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:
