**Sales Representative**
**MCSnet—Edmonton/St. Paul, AB**

**Responsibilities**
The responsibilities of the Sales Representative include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Selling and promoting products to both existing and potential clients
- Performing needs analysis and cost-benefit analysis for clients
- Coordinating sales efforts with other departments
- Acting as a company representative in trade shows and other related events
- Developing, maintaining, and improving relationships with clients to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty
- Developing networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events
- Working with other departments to ensure smooth processes are created and followed
- Monitoring competitors’ sales activities
- Supplying the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new products, or services, and competitive activities
**Measures of Performance**
- Achieving sales targets and customer subscription growth
- Meets monthly KPIs and goals
- Meets annual goals according to the company’s Strategic Plan and Employee Annual Performance Review
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
- Experience with negotiating and closing business and residential accounts is required
- Must be customer focused with the ability to follow up on matters until a satisfactory resolution is achieved
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- Customer-focused with demonstrated customer relations and negotiation skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills; works collaboratively with co-workers
- Must be able to prioritize and manage time well
- Well developed interpersonal skills including working collaboratively with co-workers, are required
- Must be able to work and complete tasks independently with a high level of self motivation
- Good knowledge of research market techniques and databases
**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in marketing and/or sales
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in sales
- Must be comfortable using Google Workspace products
- Knowledge of basic business and general office administration practices, processes and procedures, is required
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule outside of office hours, including weekends when needed
- Must be willing to travel throughout the MCSnet service area
- class 5 license and clean driving record
