**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:
**Required Skills**:

- A proven commitment to providing innovative and inclusive teaching strategies
- Evidence of an ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to maintain effective relationships with a range of faculty, staff and students
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Learning Management System, Canvas
- Demonstrated ability to deliver classes remotely, using online modalities such as Kaltura Media and Google Meets
- Proven experience managing large classes and diverse populations
- Experience coordinating and supervising Teaching Assistants as applicable
- Excellent organizational skills are needed to effectively manage course delivery, the marking of assignments and exams and the ability respond to student enquiries in a timely manner***

**Required Education**:

- An undergraduate degree in nursing (BScN) and a Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field would are both required.
- PhD and practice experience as an RN preferred

**Required Experience**:

- Applicants for this position must be Registered Nurses (Regular or Extended class) and hold a current license entitling them to practice with no restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Past experience or ability to deliver undergraduate content in one or more of the following domains would be beneficial: clinical education, health assessment, mental health nursing, pharmacology for nurses and nursing theory. In addition, experience with simulation would be an asset.
