**Terms**:Full-time, Permanent (35 hours per week)

**Salary**:$43,000 - 50,000 per year

**Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Reports To**:Manager, Talent Acquisition

**Nature & Scope**:
**Major Responsibilities**:

- Build trusting relationships with hiring managers to understand and support their current and future hiring needs.
- Update and maintain secure confidential personnel files for employees
- Attend career fairs and employment events to promote the organization and publicize current employment opportunities
- Comply with all relevant policies and legislation including the Employment Standards Act, BC Human Rights Code, YMCA policies and procedures, related employment laws, and other applicable agreements

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in a related program, 1 year of recruitment experience and/or a combination of related education and work experience
- Experience/knowledge in principles of human resources, an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
