The Contracts and Procurement Program Manager is responsible for managing the overall sourcing strategy balancing business needs and risks within an approved sourcing management framework. Duties will include creating and implementing the processes and policies required for contracts and procurement. This involves preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts and purchase orders in collaboration with key staff within business operations, finance and revenue operations. This is an individual contributor role who is responsible for managing internal and external company relationships and contracts from the RFP process to supplier obligations and risks, maintaining a view on supplier industry strategy with the purpose of achieving good business outcomes for the client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance in negotiations with respect to risk and ensuring related governance processes/policies are adhered to and completed prior to final approval.
- Reviews cost proposals and pricing information.
- Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors.
- Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
- Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
- Maintains database regarding vendors performance and quality of services(s) or product(s).
- Supports the process for negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions.
- Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations.
- Managing daily, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships.

**Requirement**:

- Post secondary education in Business, Commerce or a related field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing, procurement, and contract management experience in a professional services type environment.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written), strong persuasion skills and ability to gain consensus with various internal and external parties.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment; highly adaptable and able to work independently within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and understand legal terms, business terms and complex documentation.
- Experienced change agent with a successful record in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong service, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning, prioritization, organization, problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to proactively anticipate matters and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
