The Finance Assistant reports to the Manager, Financial Services. This position will communicate with members regarding annual dues, process accounts payables, and assist with month-end closing activities. This hybrid position requires the first three months to be working in the Etobicoke office.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Make monthly outbound calls to members who have become inactive due to non-payment;
- Processing member payments including online banking, pre-authorized payments, cheques, and credit cards;
- Maintenance of, and monthly reconciliation of collections and refunds;
- Reconciliation and processing of accounts payables, accounts receivables, credit cards, and maintenance of supporting documentation;
- Assistance with month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Sharing and coverage of duties performed by other finance staff;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable and basic accounting procedures;
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams;
- General knowledge of business practices;
- Good problem solver;
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 CRM database is considered an asset.

Annual Salary is $50,000-$55,000
